Tower of Voices

United Flight 93 was one of the four ill-fated planes hijacked on September 11. Most likely headed for the nation's capital, the plane's assailants were subdued by unarmed passengers who were alerted by cell phone calls from their friends and family. The heroic acts of the passengers ensured the plane would crash in a lonely field, killing everyone on board, but saving the lives of countless others. The 93-foot tower is designed with 40 windchimes - one for each victim. It was dedicated on September 9, 2018, a few days ahead of the 17th anniversary of 9/11.
