USA Weightlifting Hall of Fame

The USA Weightlifting Hall of Fame and The York Barbell Museum is affiliated with the United States Weightlifting Federation and the American Amateur Union’s Physique bodybuilding division which was originally called the Bob Hoffman (known as the “Father of World Weightlifting”) Weightlifting Hall of Fame upon opening in 1958. This Y-Shaped 7,500-square foot facility displays all sorts of exhibits dedicated to illustrating the history of strength sports and the fitness revolution from the time of ancient Greece to the present. If you're a weightlifter or if you just simply like to work out, this museum has much to offer. There's also a large "York" store where you can buy anything from weight sets to exercise gloves.
