Nothing scandalous or violent occurred in this castle's 120-year history but it was inadvertently built over a man's grave. Thus, this grand abode with a hodgepodge of architectural influences has gained a reputation for being haunted. Supposedly 15 spirits roam the drafty corridors and the Versailles-inspired chambers. Some are attached to historical objects such as a suit of armor and an old ball gown. It's up to you to decide if the castle is haunted but you might feel disappointed if you come up empty-handed after shelling out $25.
