Camille’s Restaurant on Federal Hill in Providence opened in 1914 and has grown into one of Rhode Island’s most historic Italian dining spots. Originally known as Marconi’s, it moved to its current location in 1919 and adopted the name Camille’s in 1952, becoming a landmark for traditional Italian American cuisine. Guests return for favorites such as handmade gnocchi alla vodka, pappardelle Bolognese, classic lasagna, and veal Parmesan, all served in an atmosphere that reflects more than a century of local culinary heritage.
