Description:
Inspired by 12th century Song Dynasty architecture, the Chinese Tea House is a grand place for seasonal refreshments. Located on the grounds of the Marble House Mansion, it was built in 1909 as an entertaining pavilion for Alva Vanderbilt. It sits high over Sheep Point Cove, catching the cool ocean breeze. Kept in excellent condition, the tea house is just as beautiful as when it was first built.
