Eisenhower House

This stately but humble house was the summer getaway place for DDE during his presidency. It's history goes back further than DDE; it was the commandant's residence in the late 1800s when Fort Adams was an active citadel - on the lookout for attacks by sea. The Victorian abode is part of the Fort Adams State Park and is often used as a wedding venue.
