Description:

Built in 1787, this 30-foot windmill would be in operation for over a hundred years when it ceased production in 1896. Made of chestnut wood and cedar shingles, the windmill is still in working condition even with its advanced age. Visitors can climb up to the top to see the mechanisms that make the sails turn. Don't miss Windmill Day in the summer of 2018 when the cloths will once again be raised and the sails will spin.
