Prescott Farm Windmill

This early 19th-century windmill is located on the historic grounds of Prescott Farm although the land was cultivated by the first European settlers in the area. The farm is named for an event which took place during the Revolution when American Colonel William Barton and his men kidnapped the British general from Overing House. If you want to see the inside of the windmill, plan your visit for the last Wednesday of each month from July to September.
