Historic Camden Revolutionary War

If you time your visit for the second Saturday of the month, you'll see volunteers dressed in period costumes, reenacting the way of life in the 18th century. This is one of the most visited sites in South Carolina; it's also roughly 9 miles from where the heart of the Battle of Camden was fought. The open-air museum includes many historical buildings and residences, nature trails, and a picnic area.
