One of Columbia's greatest contributions to the world of music - Hootie and the Blowfish - is memorialized near the University of South Carolina campus as a series of metallic spires that look like musical staffs. Located in the Five Points district, there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops to make this a full day's outing.
