This old prison once housed the country's most notorious criminals including the U.S.'s first female serial killer. Like an respectable historical jail this one is reputedly haunted - where criminals were held before the days of championing the rights of the imprisoned. With inhumane treatment invariably came a high rate of prison deaths from which rumors of unsettled spirits come.
