Revolutionary War Memorial
Colonial Henry Nixon died in a dual with Thomas A Hopkins over land. Nixon’s father built a wall and a fence around his son’s grave. No one else is buried in the enclosed area.
Agnes of Glasgow is buried here. During the American Revolution Agnes’s fiancé was a British Soldier and she came over to America to find him. She never did and became ill and died. Story goes that King Hagler and his people in the night buried her.
Unknow soldiers!
