Rocky Branch Natural Area

This hiking area boasts amenities such as an easy 1.5-mile trail, a paved parking lot, and picnic tables. Oh, and the gently rolling hills and miniature waterfall are pretty nice, too! The area is considered a geological feature called a monadnock which is a small mountain in a non-mountainous area. Peaceful and quiet, you won't find many crowds here. It's a great place to find solitude while squeezing in some exercise and it's dog friendly! (Submitted by Michael Mascari)
