Description:
To learn anything and everything related to cotton come to this small gem of a museum. You'll see the history of cotton - from the time it was first planted in the U.S. to its current status as a cash crop. You'll see the implements used to harvest the cotton (including the pivotal cotton gin) and learn the difference between the varieties grown around the world. It is one of the many places along the historic Cotton Trail. After your tour, head to the gift shop where you can buy handmade cotton wares, miniature cotton bales, and other souvenirs. Don't forget to snap a photo with the world's largest boll weevil.
