Sumter Veterans Park

In honor of the Tuskegee Airmen's historical significance, a replica of a P-51 Red Tail Mustang now stands proudly within Sumter Veterans Park. The City of Sumter has painstakingly installed this replica as a testament to the enduring legacy of the U.S. Air Force 322nd Fighter Group, the Tuskegee Airmen, and to impart vital lessons on inclusivity and unity within the Air Force to future generations.
