South Dakota State Railroad Museum

A small museum with a wonderful collection of items has plenty of information on regional history as well as a fascinating model railroad. Exhibits are interactive and great for kids, including a caboose and a reproduction of a 19th century depot. The museum is a great addition to the 1880 train ride as it's right next to the depot.
