The Adams House was built in 1892 by the Deadwood pioneers, Harris and Anna Franklin. This is a beautiful Queen Anne-style house situated in the former town of Deadwood which has been known for its raunchy and raucous lifestyle and activities. The Adams House Museum displays artifacts from Deadwood's past reflecting such notables like Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. The museum also houses the JB Haggin train and Potato Creek Johnny's gold nugget. All floors are wheelchair accessible. The museum was gifted to the city of Deadwood which remains city property to this day.
