Description:
This sculpture of a female form embodies the culture and tradition of the Lakota and Dakota tribes. She was a collaboration between artists and engineers who ensured that her colors would stay true and withstand the harsh climate. The natural grace and elegance is due to the contribution of three Native American women who posed as models. Situated on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River, this 50-foot high work of art is outfitted with LED lights that allow it to be viewed in the evening.
