Built in part with a grant from one of the Carnegie foundations this splendid museum houses some of the world's rarest and most beautiful classical instruments. From 18th century grand pianos to Fender guitars this ode to musical mediums is one of the most comprehensive collections to be found. Instruments from both hemispheres. NMM is open seven days a week during the summer with limited hours. Admission is $10 for most people.
