If you're in the Sage Creek area, stop at Roberts Prairie Dog Town in Wall, SD. Located where Sage Creek Road meets Rim Road, view the largest prairie dog town in the Badlands National Park and listen as they communicate with each other with their high-pitched squeaks and tones. They make their homes in dirt mounds where they dash in and out and they don't appear to fear humans observing them. Watch at a distance because their fleas may carry the plague!
