St. Peter's Rock Grotto

St. Peter's Rock Grotto located in Farmer, South Dakota was built by Father Scheier from 1926 through 1933 using rocks from the Black Hills. This small grotto was mostly forgotten and unkempt from 1959 to 2001 but has now been somewhat restored. The statue of Christ, however, still seems weathered and vandalized. (Photo by Craig Dameron)
