Castle Gwynn

This gorgeous castle with the twin turrets was built in 1970 by Mike Freeman. Just a normal guy with an ambition, Mike dreamed of building his palatial home since taking an architecture class in high school. If you're a Taylor Swift fan, you might recall seeing this castle in one of her music videos. Although it is a private residence, Mike Freeman hosts the Tennessee Renaissance Festival every year. Indeed, this Renaissance Festival is the only one in the country to be held on the property of an private citizen.
