Eiffel Tower Replica

Each year, the Memphis in May Festival honors a country. In 1990, France was the focus and the Christian Brothers University engineering students built a replica Eiffel Tower as their contribution to the festival. The wooden tower needed a new home after the festival and Paris, TN was chosen out of 15 U.S. cities named after the French City of Lights. The tower is only decorative as it is much too flimsy to support the weight of a human.
