Description:
The Elizabethton Covered Bridge is a historic wooden covered bridge located in Elizabethton, TN. It spans the Doe River and is one of the last remaining covered bridges in Tennessee. The bridge was built in 1882 by a local builder, the H.W. King Bridge Company, and is one of the oldest surviving covered bridges in the state.
