Elkmont Ghost Town

Located in a pretty woodland area that is part of the Smoky Mountain National Park, this ghost town once thrived on lumber. The log cabins and clapboard buildings are in serious disrepair but they have achieved National Historic Landmark status as structures built over a century ago.
