Elliston Place Soda Shop has been a Nashville favorite since 1939 when it began as a small soda fountain inside the former Elliston Pharmacy and quickly grew into a beloved neighborhood diner. Over the years it became known for its classic Southern comfort food and nostalgic atmosphere, and it was revitalized in 2020 when it moved next door into a restored historic building that preserved its vintage booths, jukebox, and soda counter. Today the shop is celebrated for its hand pattied burgers, meat and three plates, creamy milkshakes, and popular desserts like coconut pie and banana splits.
