Fort Nashborough

Saves: 27
Check-ins: 51
Nashville was founded on January 1, 1780 by James Robertson. At that time he and the people he traveled with called it Fort Nashborough. The settlers sheltered here in 20 log cabins. Today, the fort has been reconstructed and stands near the original site, although not quite on it. To visit is free; hours are from 9 AM to 4 PM daily.
