Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies

Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is an indoor aquarium located in Gatlinburg, TN. It is one of the top attractions in the area and features over 10,000 sea creatures and 350 species of fish from around the world. The aquarium is divided into different themed areas, including the Tropical Rainforest, Ocean Realm, Shark Lagoon, Touch-A-Ray Bay, and the Penguin Playhouse. Visitors can explore a variety of exhibits such as the Coral Reef exhibit which showcases brightly colored fish, live coral and sea turtles, and the Stingray Bay exhibit which features dozens of stingrays that visitors can touch and feed. One of the main attractions at Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is the 340-foot-long underwater tunnel which allows visitors to walk through a tank filled with sharks, sea turtles, and other marine animals swimming overhead.
