Tent Graves

No one knows exactly why these tetrahedron shapes at Mt. Gilead Cemetery were built over the graves. One theory is that they prevented damage to the graves by severe weather. Another is that they prevented cattle from walking over them. Whatever the reason they are unique and seem to have done their jobs in sheltering the dead. Both the cemetery and the nearby church, Mt. Gilead Methodist, are easily found on Google Maps.
