Description:

Located in the Smokies, this water-powered grist mill was built in the 1830s. It was also a hub of socializing and trading activity as the mill was the source of life-sustaining flour. Today, it is still a center of socializing, with its restaurants, shops, creamery, and distillery. The Old Mill Restaurant specializes in high-fat Southern fare while the Creamery serves up homemade ice-cream. Before you leave, don't forget to buy fresh-made candies and victuals as well as a bottle of spirits from the distillery.
