The Sinks is a waterfall on the Little River which is a tributary of the Tennessee River. The water rushes over a series of rocks and drops approximately 15 feet before continuing on its way down the river. The water flows through a narrow channel that creates a powerful current and a distinctive roaring sound. There's a small parking area near The Sinks and visitors can walk down a short trail to reach the viewing area. The area around the waterfall is rocky and can be slippery, so visitors are advised to exercise caution.
