Description:
A unique mural of giant tickets from shows of great performers is installed outside the box office of the building housing the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum and the Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Each talent's name is easily recognizable - Otis Redding, Alice Cooper, Bob Dylan, Kool & the Gang, Harlem Globetrotters...the prices, showtimes, and dates are also printed - each ticket representing a real show. For example, the Nov. 9, 1978 show with Black Sabbath headlining is when Ozzy famously got lost. (According to legend, Ozzy checked into the wrong hotel.) The mural is a history of the auditorium, spanning more than 40 years with plenty of other stories to go along with each ticket.
