Although the area doesn't look like anything to write home to Mom about, the real treasure is hidden within. This cave system is estimated to be 20 to 30 million years old and has unique formations that have slowly developed over eons. One of the most amazing features is the Big Room which has stalagmites up to 24 feet high. Open to the public since the 1950s, the cave welcomes over 50,000 visitors a year.
