Description:
Varallo’s Restaurant, founded in 1907 by Italian immigrant Frank Varallo Sr., is considered the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Tennessee and has remained a Nashville staple through multiple relocations and ownership changes. The eatery is best known for its signature chili, especially the popular three way that combines chili with spaghetti and a tamale. Visitors also enjoy hearty Southern breakfasts, fried catfish, meat and three plates, burgers, and classic comfort food that has kept locals returning for more than a century.
