American Wind Power Center

With windmills old and new this museum is literally a powerhouse of information about this renewable energy source. In an era where we are looking for cleaner and more efficient ways to produce energy this is an educational stop for adults and kids alike. For the kids there are miniature trains and dollhouses. This 28-acre open-air museum is open from Tuesday through Saturday between 10 AM and 5 PM. Admission is about $8 per person. (Photo by Steve E)
