Description:

The world's largest bat colony lives here - over 15 million Mexican free-tailed bats. While you cannot enter the cave you can take a guided tour in the evening and watch the bats leave their cave for their nightly hunting of insect prey. Be forewarned, you must join the society in order to view the bats. Simply go to their website to pay the membership fee. The money is well worth the sight of seeing millions of bats fly out of the cave in spiral formation and it goes to the important cause of preserving the habitat of these amazing creatures.
