Description:
Before Waco was reimagined through shows like "Fixer Upper" it suffered a couple of decades as the location where the Waco siege (also known as the Waco massacre) took place. The actual building where followers of David Koresh had perished was razed to the ground. A small chapel built years after the tragedy stands on the gated site. On the gate a sign with entrance hours is posted.
