Calera Chapel

A solitary place of worship is the only remnant of a community which existed in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Mission Mary was established in 1902 and was overseen by Father Nicolas Brocardus from the Netherlands. It served as the place of worship for Calera residents until the 1940s. The chapel is free to visit, but can only be viewed from the outside. (Submitted by CJ Boales)
