Caprock Canyons State Park
Saves: 19
Check-ins: 7
Located in northern Texas this rugged and sparse region was shaped by eons of wind and water. The spareness of the surroundings is deceptive; activities include geocaching, hiking, and horseback riding. Lake Theo provides an outlet for water sports such as fishing and swimming. The park is known for its bison which roam around freely. The sun-beaten plains tend to get hot and dry, so bring plenty of water as none is provided on site.
