Description:

Marble Falls has a dark past during the Civil War, when Confederate soldiers apparently disposed of a few dozen bodies in Dead Man's Hole. A drop into a cave, nowadays the opening is closed off with a metal gate. While the story behind Dead Man's Hole may be more interesting than reality, the site is still disturbing - especially in twilight.
