Fort Chadbourne

Fort Chadbourne was established in 1852 as protection for the Western frontier. It was named after a lieutenant in the Mexican-American War who was killed in action during the Battle of Resaca de la Palma. The on-site museum features an amazing collection of historical artifacts and weaponry. American history buffs should not miss out on this place!
