World's Largest Killer Bee

Hidalgo, TX commemorated the appearance of the African Killer Bee within its borders by building a giant, lifelike tribute. The mayor of Hidalgo welcomed the honey-making arthropod in 1990, and his town is now on the map with write-ups in Time, The Wall Street Journal, and The Guinness Book of World Records.
