Giant Metal Spur

Nothing says Texas like a cowboy boot and its spur. If you're traveling through the Lone Star State, you might see two or three, including this oversized footwear accessory located in a tiny town of the same name. With just under 1,000 people, Spur celebrated its centennial in 2009 by erecting the metal sculpture at Dyess Park. (Submitted by CJ Boales)
