Giant Statue of Sam Houston

Talented sculptor David Adickes started his statue of Sam Houston in 1992, and it was dedicated in 1994. Adickes couldn't stop sculpting, and therefore the Texas landscape is dotted here and there with his larger-than-life pieces of concrete and steel art.
