Description:

Today this Gothic Revival building is owned by the Hilton. However, in 1924 it was intended as the city's Medical Arts building. Each gargoyle lining the facade is symbolic of a medical ailment. Surgeries were performed on the 12th and 14th floors and those who never made it out of the building were taken to the basement morgue. It served as a medical facility until the 1970s and i's easy to understand why this is considered the 3rd most haunted hotel in the world!
