Historic Hye Texas

In 1886 Hiram "Hye" Brown opened his post office and general store putting this unincorporated town on the map. Even though the population hovers just over 100 there is plenty to attract visitors - the still intact general store, wine tastings, locally brewed beer, specially made spices and body products, and live music. Locals welcome visitors with open arms - surely they like seeing a new face!
