Houston Arboretum

In 1951 the city set aside 155 acres of land to build this magical haven. It's a great place to get some exercise with 5 miles of trails surrounded by foists, ponds, and meadows. While you stroll, run, or meander through the arboretum, hummingbirds, butterflies, and other native wildlife will keep you company. Admission is always free! Free parking is only on Thursdays.
