Description:
It sounds like a place where you'd fill up your car but "hueco" is the name of the natural rock basin that trapped rainwater and slaked the thirst of travelers for hundreds, maybe thousands of years. This historic site has something for everyone - rugged terrain for hikers and rock climbers, plenty of bird species for orniphiles, and ancient pictographs for history buffs. Call the park at least 90 days before you visit to make sure you don't need a permit for the area you intend to see.
