Description:
It was founded in 1716 and by 1756 the church, friary, and granary were completed. San Juan and the mission were self-sustaining, producing their own food and raw materials. Today, in keeping with its history, the mission has a living demonstration farm in partnership with San Antonio Food Bank. This along with the other San Antonio Missions is a UNESCO WHS. The mission is open every day from 10 AM to 5 PM.
