Description:
Started by retired border patrol officers in 1979, this museum displays the history behind the enforcement of the border between the U.S. and Mexico. The National Border Patrol Museum in El Paso is the only one of its kind, solely dedicated to educating the public about the duties of the border patrol officers. Another exhibit informs visitors on how individuals cross the border from the U.S. to Mexico, and vice versa.
